Delivery Trip Day 4

We departed Ilion around 7 AM after waiting for some light rain to stop and once again got underway with glassy smooth water and some mist floating over it.

As we passed through the narrower sections of the canal we saw plenty of up-close nature

And soon we arrived at lock E19 with its rather narrow entrance
We then passed through Rome, NY
And saw some more canal scenery
Before passing through Sylvan beach
And then blasting across Oneida Lake

We tied up for the night in Phoenix, NY after another 10.5 hour day. At this point we were on the Oswego Canal, just before Lock O1 where we watched a nice sunset.
